This page is all about what I have to offer YOU when it comes to yoga classes. As a practicing yoga instructor and physiotherapist, with extensive knowledge of the human body and its movement, I guide my classes with a focus on alignment and breath. I often speak to the physicality of a pose as a tool to ground you in the present moment and bring you into your power. Slow Flow

Energy: water & fire. A slow burn. A blend of long holds with fluid movement. We move intentionally slow without becoming stagnant. Build presence and fluidity during postures and transitions. Savour each breath and the movement it guides. Work to deepen inhales, and lengthen exhales. Explore your end ranges. Blend ease with effort.

The Build Up

Energy: gentle power. A focus on attention to detail, fine-tune basics, & the use of props to strengthen your foundation. Grow deep roots. Cultivate connection to and awareness of alignment and how you feel. Ease into length and strength. The kind of practice that can re-connect you to muscles you forgot you had and set you up to explore powerfully forward.

Post Work Play

Energy: fun! We will experiment with our postures and flow. You are encouraged to get messy, wobble, fall, and try again. We breathe, we move, & we drop expectations. Connect with your inner child and your neighbour. You may find yourself sweating and smiling simultaneously :) This class is a friendly reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

Rise & Rinse

Energy: fire. Build your inner fire with core cultivation, repetition. Find and challenge your edge. Release limiting beliefs. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable, the kind that inspires presence and growth. We move fast, without rushing. We use attention to breath as a tool to ground you in the present and guide you through heat-building postures.
